This bill removes the sunset date (makes permanent) a labor mandate relating to usage of sick leave. As a result, all companies with at least 25 employees are now permanently required to allow their employees to utilize up to 5 days of sick leave to attend to an immediate family member. Companies also may not require subcontractors to violate either of the requirements. If a company violates these provisions, any economic development incentives must be repaid.
