In comparison, an Emergency Medical Technician is required to undergo 150 hours of training in Ohio (equal to the national average), or less than a tenth of the amount of someone who provides haircuts.

Under the bill, valuations may only be contested if the property was sold in a certain timeframe and the sale price was at least 10% and $500,000 more than the auditor's current valuation. Support is the Limited Government Position as while all property value should be fairly and accurately assessed, some local governments have abused their ability to challenge property valuations, which has led to excessive taxation. Lawmakers at both the state and local level should take every action to eliminate all unnecessary spending and ensure every property owner is taxed at the lowest level possible.
