Finally, the bill also repeals the Florida Energy and Climate Protection Act, repeals the Florida Green Government Grants Act, and the Energy Economic Zone Pilot Program. Support is the Limited Government Position as while the bill does contain some slightly negative provisions related to power plant retirement and utility company recovery of natural gas facilities relocation costs, the bill largely strengthens property rights and helps combat government overreach.

This bill updates state and local procurement requirements to allow agencies to purchase electric vehicles if they are the lowest cost option. Under the bill, vehicle purchases are to be based on "the lowest lifetime ownership costs" rather than "the greatest fuel efficiency available." Support is the Limited Government Position as government procurement should be based on providing the lowest cost and greatest value to taxpayers. While government should not favor electric vehicles for environmental or other politicized reasons, as EV costs decline, such vehicular option should be considered in procurement.

Protecting Taxpayers by Requiring State and Local Agency Vehicle Purchases to be "Based on the Lowest Lifetime Ownership Costs".

This resolution repeals Section 7 of Article VI of the state Constitution, which requires public funding for campaigns for statewide offices (Governor, Lt. Governor, and Cabinet).
