This bill prohibits the use of politicized ESG (environmental, social, and governance) considerations in state and local investments, such as pension systems, which may reduce taxpayer returns. Finally, the bill also repeals the Florida Energy and Climate Protection Act, repeals the Florida Green Government Grants Act, and the Energy Economic Zone Pilot Program. Support is the Limited Government Position as while the bill does contain some slightly negative provisions related to power plant retirement and utility company recovery of natural gas facilities relocation costs, the bill largely strengthens property rights and helps combat government overreach.

This bill appropriates $200 million to the Department of Financial Services for the "My Safe Florida Home Program" for FY 2024-2025. This bill provides that if a person travels into a county they don't reside in, with intent to commit grand theft or any forcible felony, the offense classification is increased one level.
